Revolution slider not updating through the plugin installer

    Hello,
    I a trying to update the revolutions slider through the themes plugin installer, but despite displaying a message that it updated successfully, the plugin does not update to the latest version.

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    Please download the plugin archive from this page – https://www.8theme.com/downloads/
    Go to Dashboard > Plugins > Add new > Upload plugin > Choose plugin (downloaded from https://www.8theme.com/downloads) > Install now > click on “Replace current with uploaded”.
    Clear cache and check the result.

    does this mean that the plugin installer doesnt work anymore, or is it a bug?

    This issue should be resolved with the next plugin update. However, if the problem persists after the update, please do not hesitate to contact us again. Kindly provide temporary WP-Admin and FTP access so that we can investigate the issue more thoroughly on your website.
