Revolution Slider loading very slow - by darinagg

Dear 8theme Team,

The Revolution slider loads the images extremely slowly. Images’ sizes are optimized and are just a couple of KB. All of the other assets and products in the website load instantly & only the revolution slider’s images are slow (takes around 40s for the slider to appear and sometimes more).

Could you please advise us on how to increase the slider’s loading speed?

Hello,

Try to disable “Include libraries globally” in Slider revolution > Globals > General.
Edit slider > MODULE GENERAL OPTIONS > Advanced > Lazy Loading > Single.
Then clear cache and check the slider then.

Hello,

It was our mistake. We use the Native 8theme Slider and not the Revolution slider.

Hello,

The slider performance is indeed great on the default language page. Our website operates in 3 languages using WPML. Once you switch to another language different than English (English being the default language), you can see that it takes quite long to see the slider images while the rest of the page loads almost instantly (you can scroll a bit down & see that the rest of the home page has loaded while the slider takes approx 30-40s to appear).

Any help/suggestions will be highly appreciated!
