    Hi there,

Is it possible to ensure that reviews left contain the all the mark-up requested by Google (https://developers.google.com/search/docs/data-types/review) so that products/services are likely to show the rating (out of 5 stars) within SERPS?

    Hi Rose,

When customer reviews on any website are structured with the right Schema mark-up/structured data, Google will display this within their search listings (e.g: https://prnt.sc/jpfe2f )

In order for Google to see the review correctly, it needs to be structured in a way that spiders will understand.

I’m not a coder but there are clear instructions (from Google) at the link I gave (https://developers.google.com/search/docs/data-types/review) that show how reviews should be marked up (structured data).

This not only makes your search listing far more prominent on the page but can also help with rankings.

So all I’m asking is that the “Reviews” feature of the theme is coded with the correct mark-up to structure customer reviews in this way.

I hope that all makes sense?

    Thanks.

    Hello,

    Thanks for the explanation.
Our theme uses woocommerce reviews functionality and contains required reviewCount and ratingValue properties. SEO plugin can make some effect on it. For more information, I would recommend you to contact Woocommerce support or SEO plugin author, if you use such plugin.

    Regards
