    Hello.

I am using the ID theme for my WooCommerce shop. Everything is fine. There’s just one issue: When a client is on the cart page, and click on “Go to pay”-button without filling out all required fields, the labels telling that the requied fields are required is in english, tho’ the rest is in danish. The string is translated in the .po file, but it’s still showing incorrectly on the page. How do I change this?

You can see it in radon.email, add a product, and then go to cart and click on “Continue” without filling in any required fields.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

We’ve checked this issue with default WordPress theme and the field isn’t translated there too.
We recommend you to translate that text in Woocommerce file wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/class-wc-checkout.php in line 446.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hello,

Are you suggestion to edit the core files? You can’t be serious? I expect you to have made it a translatable string, so that we won’t have to edit the core files. If we do so, the issue will be the same, whenever there’s a new update to WooCommerce.

Also, there’s another string here: “You must accept our Terms & Conditions.” if you do not accept those when checking out… Where do we get this translated?

    Hello,

As I see now the fields are translated:

    Seems your site was cached.

Please clear browser cache and check.

    Hello,

The strings are translated because I did so in the core files. But, it should not be necessary to edit the core files, to have the theme translated.

As soon as we update WooCommerce, the files will be overwritten.

    Hello,

As I told you in the previous post the same issue persists with default WordPress theme (Twenty Fifteen), activate it and check yourself.
You can make changes in the child theme http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes , copy Woocommerce files to the child theme with the same directory structure, for example wp-content/themes/idstore-child/woocommerce/includes/class-wc-checkout.php.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.
