I paid your staff to install Legenda and have since replaced all of the dummy content with our own, restructured the Header and Navigation, etc. But I can’t find a location for your Footer files in order to swap in my own content. I have tried Visual Composer, backend editor, everything. The widgets for Footer 1 & 2 show no editable content, but such content still appears on the live page. What do you suggest? It seems like I need to delete what you have and start over? I can’t even find a way to specify the files to delete. Within the editing interfaces that I see they don’t exist!
    Note: Visual Composer version 4.4.3

Footer use predefined files that can be replaced. Please check our documention about how to create footer:https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/legenda/index.html#!/footer. Also please provide us with wp-admin credentials or provide us with screenshots of this widgets.

    With best regards

    Hello,

You should recreate the footer with your own content as described in our documentation:
    https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/legenda/index.html#!/footer
Create static block and select it with Static Block widget in Appearance > Widgets and place it Footer 1 or Footer 2 area.

    Thank you.

My question had to do with deleting your footer content, the dummy content that you installed for me last week. I watched your video on footers 3 times and took notes, and read the documentation. None of that was helpful because:
My site control panel shows no static blocks, and no editable content in any of the 4 footer widgets (prefooter, 1,2, links).
Based on the evidence available to me in either the classic or VC editing interface, there is no footer content on this site — none to display, none to overwrite.

But there is a footer displayed. I want to find that content and delete it. Where exactly is it?

If you need to get into my site, you installed the theme recently and have all of the access information.
Bottom line: Please delete the current footer and then tell me how you did that. I’ll pay. You can charge me for another install and we’ll create a service ticket that way. Does that make sense?

At this point I really don’t need a footer and this back and forth is costing me valuable time. I just want the footer that you installed removed. You should know how to do that and I can’t find instructions for that in any of the references that you have provided.

Please do this. It’s the last item that I need help with and then you will not be hearing from me again!

    Please, contact administrator
    for this information.

    Hello,

If you want to remove our demo footer then you need go to Theme Options > General > Show footer demo blocks > Off. If you want to edit our demo footer you can find it in the file wp-content/themes/legenda/framework/theme-functions.php (find the section “! Footer Demo Widgets” on line 2956).
If you want to create your own footer follow the instruction in our documentation.

    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Eva,

Spot on and done, many thanks. You’re working too late but I’m 9 hours earlier so your prompt reply saves me a day of deadline overexposure. Many thanks!
