I am using my own child theme for Classico. I’m new to this and still building the site, so there’s essentially no content on my website yet. Problem: I want to have my screen width be 100%, but there’s this “Main Sidebar” which I can’t seem to remove.

In my WordPress Appearance-> Widgets screen, the “Main Sidebar” has zero items in it. However, my page displays a Search widget in that location. If I add a single widget there, (for example, Twitter Feed) the Twitter feed is the sole item in that location, so I know I have the right place.

I want to remove that sidebar to enable my screen content to be 100% wide on my whole site. How do I accomplish this?

    Hello,

You can add the empty text widget in the Main sidebar (Appearance > Widgets) and set wide site layout http://prntscr.com/f9out4, also edit page and set sidebar position http://prntscr.com/faogql

    Regards,
