Removing space where search is in header 1

I have got rid of the search in header 1 – however there still seems to be padding or something there as all my menu items do not fit on one line. How can I get rid of the search, or make the menu items all fit?

Hello,

Please add this code in custom.css file
```
.menu > li > a{
  padding: 20px 9px 15px 9px;
}
```
