Remove Category count from Menu subitems

So we wanted to remove the category count from submenu items in menu.

The only way i found i could do it was in file: plugins/et-core-plugin/app/controllers/shortcodes – file: category-lists.php

Which we really do not want to edit the core plugin as stops us from updating the theme, so is there a way in the theme to change this or place this file in the child theme?

Hello, @Aaron,

Please check the image of your site here: https://postimg.cc/3W1d3FxV as you can see there is no count appearing on the sub-menu items. You didn’t share the access to your site with us also, You said that you have found a way to fix it but you didn’t want to go with it. So if you solve the issue from the way you said then please revert it back and let us know I will check and let you know about this and how can you fix the issue without editing the theme core files if possible. Maybe with the Custom CSS code is more suitable rather than the customization. Because by default in the menu settings and theme options there is no option to make it works as you want.
