Removal of Uncategorized from shop side bar

    Dear Xstore,

    Could you pls advise as to how we can remove the uncategorized menu item from our shop side bar, as per screenshot in the private content, thanks, Su.

    Hi,

    Use this Code snippet in your child theme’s functions.php https://gist.github.com/laranz/850035e0b9e203e5380a490ce9be27ae it will fix the issue for you.

    Hi Laranz,

    We have just updated the Woocommerce theme and the UNCATEGORIZED has reappeared on our shop page again. Is this going to happen on every single update? what can be done to permanently stop this?

    Hello,

    That category is the default WooCommerce category. So, they do changes related to it. Contact WC plugin support to solve this situation, our theme does not affect it.
