Regarding theme updates - by suhasratan - on WordPress WooCommerce support

    Hi, i just got a notification that you’ve sent an update…

    please look at my site and tell me if i’ll lose the changes i’ve done… should i ignore the update?

    Hello suhasratan,

    if you have edited theme files – please move all customizations to Child Theme to prevent them from disappearing on theme update.
    After that please make backup of theme folder and update.

    But i have only altered settings, from within the customisations panels… no files were edited through FTP…

    could you please suggest if i should update or not?

    Hello,

    In this case you can update the theme.

    Don’t forget to create back up of your files and database before starting update process!


    (it’s for Legenda theme but the process is the same).
