Recent Posts Widget Limit doesn't work

After updating Royal theme to the latest version, the footer block where it shows “Recent Posts” does not seem to use the value entered in the “Limit” input. It was set as 2, and after the update, it seemed to show all of them.

I have tried increasing and decreasing the number, deleting it altogether, creating a new widget and removing the previous one. Nothing seems to have any affect.

Hello,

We will fix it in the next theme update.
Also, you can edit wp-content/themes/royal/framework.php file and change this string http://prntscr.com/e5if9j to
$number = ( empty( $instance['number'] ) ) ? 5 : $instance['number'];

Hello,
I have a problem about the same subject

“wp-content/themes/royal/framework.php” -> (No such file is found)
Is there another way?
