I’ve been getting spam registrations for the past week or so now, right now it’s relatively slow but we all know how that ends up. After reading through some of the other topics in your forums I see this was an issue before, not sure what you did as a fix.

Anyhow, I’d like to know what’s possible to do for this and suggest setting an option in theme options for people to use Googles recaptcha V2, this is more up to date than the current captcha your theme uses; which is becoming less effective every day.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

We can help you and disable our default captcha by additional customization. Provide me temporary Dashboard and FTP access.
You may try to setup the https://wordpress.org/plugins/google-captcha/ plugin to add the Google captcha.

    Regards

Will your customization be done in the child theme so that this will be a permanent thing?

    Thanks

    Hello,

Yes, our customization will be done in the child theme.
Please, fill in google captcha fields http://prntscr.com/m7hqr5 on your site. Because we will need to check if everything works fine when we remove the default captcha and add this one.

    Regards

    Hello,

Our developers discussed the captcha issue and decided to change the Legenda default captcha to google captcha and this improvement will be included in the theme update. At this moment we need to improve the registration form to make custom fields compatible with google captcha (1 day is an estimated time). I’ll inform you once we finish.

    Regards

Sounds good, I like that route better. Hopefully they go with Recapcha V2 and not V3.

One thing for your developers to note, Contact Form 7 recently upgraded to Google Recapcha V3, made it mandatory, and had a lot of issues with people getting more spam (I was one of them). I had to roll back Contact Form 7 to the last update that allowed V2 and now it works.

    Just some advice.

    Thanks

    Hello,

Seems you changed the password to your Dashboard and we can’t login to save options, so do it by yourself http://prntscr.com/mblvt5 and check if captcha works ok for you.
