Quick view does not work well with product variations

I am having an issue with the Product Variations and Quick View settings. When I am in the Quick View window, and I click on a different Product Color Variation the Product Image changes to the correct Product Variation image, however the Product Gallery images do not change to the new Colored Variation images. Also, when a Product Variation is selected and then the Quick View windows is opened that Variation is not selected and the user has to reselect it all over again. I included a video link demonstrating the issues in greater detail within the Private Content Area. Is there a way keep the current Product Variation selected when clicking on the Quick View window?

Hello,

We’ll try to improve QV and show selected variations there in one of the next theme updates.
The variation gallery option is the option for the single product only. Unfortunately, we can’t display the variation gallery in the Quick view.
