    Hello,

    I would like to use the promo text section in the bottom header (only mobile!)

    1st problem: the link text and URL fields in promo text do not accept any input (see screenshot).

    I tried to work around this problem by using “html block 1” section with static block. But of course, that does not allow autoplay, close button.

    2nd problem: that only-mobile bottom-header displays on desktop, too, and not only that, it also appears in the top left corner of the top header (see screenshot)

    3rd problem: the feature “full width header” for the bottom header does not expand to full width but leaves a margin. I worked around with negative margins in the bottom header computed box.

    I have disabled all other plugins but no change to any of those problems. All caches cleared.

    For the time being I have removed the html-1-section from the bottom header.
    Credentials for the live site are attached. I am creating a staging clone, too.

    Thank you
    best regards
    Martin

    Hi,
    concerning the 2nd problem: I take that one back. I found an orphaned html-block-1 in the top header.
    Thank you!

    Dear @Martin,

    I hope this message finds you well.

    We kindly ask if you could temporarily disable the WP-Captcha feature, as we are currently unable to access your WordPress dashboard. The login process requires an email address, and since our developers work from various locations and use multiple email accounts, IP-based access restrictions are also not feasible in this case.

    Additionally, we have noticed that the “Stretch Container” option has been enabled, as shown in the following screenshot: https://prnt.sc/pEZgknT1mesW. Could you please clarify if there are any remaining questions or concerns you would like us to address?

    Thank you for your cooperation.

    Best regards,
    The 8Theme Team

    Hello,

    I have disabled the country blocker so you should now have access, please excuse the delay.

    I do not know what the “stretch container” option means. There is no such entry in the customizer and your screenshot only shows the frontend.

    Kind regards
    Martin

    Hello @Martin,

    We hope this message finds you well.

    We would like to inform you that we have updated the appearance of the Customizer. You can view the changes here: https://prnt.sc/XFiUPPSoNFX4. As a result, the input fields for the Promo Text are now visible: https://prnt.sc/AbFKvS0A_JW7.

    Additionally, we kindly ask you to clarify your request regarding the container stretch. From our end, it appears that the “Full Width” option is currently active: https://prnt.sc/rKFpsNEysiWc, and it is displaying correctly on the frontend.

    Please let us know if you have any further questions or if there is anything else we can assist you with.

    Best regards,

    Hello,

    thank you! I see, the first issue was only due to a layout problem.

    Concerning the second: yes, I do have “full width header/container stretch” activated, but as I wrote before:
    The “full width header” for the bottom header does not expand to full width but leaves a margin. (see screenshot). I worked around it with negative margins in the bottom header computed box.

    However, this leads to a layout shifts in the header upon every page load. And it shifts the close button into the overflow.
    (I know it looks now ok in the frontend, because of those workarounds and because I switched off the close button).

    How can this be fixed?
    Best regards
    Martin

    Hello @Martin,

    You may remove the -30px margins and apply the following custom CSS:

    .mobile-header-wrapper .header-bottom-wrapper .et-container {
        padding-left: 0;
        padding-right: 0;
    }

    Please note that if you wish to adjust the stretch container in the mobile header for other sections, you can modify the following selector accordingly: header-bottom-wrapper (bottom, top, main).

    Hi,
    thank you!
    That works nicely, however only on mobile. Other smaller screen sizes keep the margin.

    I wonder why there ares margin at all. Shouldn’t full width header/container stretch remove them?

    Best regards

    Hello @Martin,

    We hope this message finds you well.

    We would like to inform you that we have made an improvement to the custom CSS previously implemented on your website. The following addition has been made:

    .mobile-header-wrapper .header-bottom-wrapper .et-container {
        /* previous code */
        max-width: 100%;
    }

    Please take a moment to review the changes on your website.

    Kindly note that the full-width option is not applied by default to header sections within the mobile header. Therefore, we have applied this custom solution to ensure that a specific section stretches appropriately on mobile devices.

    Should you have any questions or require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Best regards,
