Progress bar free shipping not updating correctly (in product page – in pop up)

    Hi Rose,
    the progress bar of free shipping does not update correctly in the product page – in the pop up style cart.
    I mean, to replicate the issue please add a product to the cart, then the pop up with the progress bar appears saying “spend another XXX to have free shipping”. If you change the product quantity in the pop up, the progress bar does not update / does not reflect any change.

    If you go to the “full/real” cart page, the progress bar updates correctly there, while changing the product quantity.

    Hello, @wssrob,

    I have checked and confirmed the issue on our test site and it is working just fine. There is no issue with a theme like this. On your site, there are a lot of third-party plugins activated and the theme and its necessary plugins are not updated to the latest version.

    1- Please first try to update the theme and its core plugins to the latest version in order to avoid any unexpected issues on the site. Here is an article to know how to update the theme successfully on the site: https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/63-theme-update if after updating the theme and it’s necessary plugin still your issue doesn’t resolve then proceed to point 2.

    2- Please try to disable all the third-party plugins (including cache plugins), that do not come bundled with XStore https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/36-included-plugins, clear the cache of the browser, and check then. Maybe one of the additional plugins is the reason for the problem.

    And if the issue will still persist then please remain all the third-party plugins deactivated on your site and allow permission to debug your site which includes deactivating all the third-party plugins and on-site Customization as well so that I will check and assist you accordingly.

    Note: Please take the complete backup of your site first.

    Hi Tony, hi Rose,
    I updated all the plugins and theme to latest version.
    I disabled all the third party plugins, and nothing changed.

    Then I checked your demo website, and the issue is present there, too, so I don’t think it’s related in any way to my installation / cache / plugins.

    When you put a product in the cart the “spend XXX amount to get free shipping” is correct. As soon as you update the quantity IN THE MINI-CART (or off-canvas cart, in the image above), the XXX amount is not updated anymore and is wrong.
    On my installation the pop-up cart subtotal is correct, in your demo website the off-canvas subtotal is also wrong / not updated correctly.

    On your site I disable all the third-party plugins then I delete the “XSTORE CORE” plugin after that I install it again by doing this your issue is resolved. Check the resulting video here: https://streamable.com/x915gl and then check back to your site after clearing the browser cache.

    You can again activate all the third-party plugins on your site one by one and check which one is creating the issue on your site.

    Hi Tony, I found out the plugin giving this problem is:
    SITEGROUND OPTIMIZER
    That plugin was causing the problem with xstore cart – not updating free shipping ; if other people are reading this maybe the info will be helpful.

    Anyway, JFYI, I double checked what I said in my previous post, and I confirm that on your demo site the very same problem is present.

    Hello, @wssrob,

    1. Sound’s Good!! that you found the culprit, so I suggest you, please do not use that plugin as that seems to be conflicting with the theme, or contact the plugin Author for further help on this.

    2. Now regarding the issue of our Demo site, you are right, I have checked the same demo product and found the issue, but then I imported the same demo on my test site and tried to test the same product with the same demo on my test site and there is no such issue.

    So it means the issue is on the Demo site particular product only, we will check it soon and will fix it on our demo site as well.
