In the Products Page Layout settings, I can change Products View Mode, but the only result is that the button disappears on the Products Page.

The default view does not change.

I just realised, that this setting is working only for the main products page.

Is it possible to make this setting for displaying products in categories as well?

    Hello,

We just tested your website and see that products view mode buttons work both on the shop page and on the category pages without any problems https://gyazo.com/314730fa5f73e2ade9a9d475f94d3966

    Regards

You are correct. The buttons work. I reenabled them – didn’t really want the option.

I need the default mode to be List, not grid – even on categories. And that doesn’t seem to work on categories. Only on main Products Page. That is why I reenabled the buttons, so the user can enable List mode themselves for better overview.

    Regards.

OK, we understand. Could you please provide your admin access so we could check how it works?

    Thank you

Hi there, I am having the same issue. The products page does not default to list view. When I select list only in the theme options, it just hides the buttons and still shows the products as a grid view
