    Hello.

I have a store with computer products, and lots of products are not showing in search results.

    For example
    Logitech Z-5500

The product is showing fine on frontend
    https://external.komponentko.si/product/periferija-gaming-miske-tipkovnice-slusalke-stoli-podloge/zvocniki/sateliti-logitech-z-5500-set-4-visoko-in-srednjetoncev/

But is not found in search results.

    This happens with many products

I created a duplicate of the page to play with.
I deactivated all plugins except Woocommerce and xstore and did not help.

If I switch form xstore to classic theme then it shows ok in search results.

    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Could you please provide temporary wp-admin and FTP access? We will check what can be done to help you.
To grant WP-Admin access, please proceed to create a new user account with an administrator role through your WordPress Dashboard. Once the account is established, you may securely transmit the username and password to us via the Private Content section designated for this purpose.

For FTP access, we require the following details: FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, and FTP encryption type. If you need assistance in creating these credentials, please reach out to your hosting provider who will guide you through the process.

    Warm Regards,

    Hello, ziga32,

We have identified that the issue with the search functionality is related to product availability in stock. Currently, the option “Hide out of stock items from the catalog” is enabled in your WooCommerce settings (WooCommerce → Settings → Products → Inventory). As a result, any products that are out of stock are automatically excluded from search results.

If you would like these products to appear in search results again, please consider disabling this option.

    Best regards,

We have identified an error on your website that is affecting not only the search functionality but also the overall performance of the site. The error message is as follows:

Uncaught Error: Call to undefined method WC_Product_Composite::get_pricing()

This issue appears to be caused by the plugins wpc-composite-products-premium and wpc-composite-products. We kindly ask you to consider disabling this plugin to resolve the problem.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

We are currently still seeing an error on the homepage; however, the product you mentioned is now appearing in the search results. Kindly check on your end to confirm.

what error are you seedig and where?? Yes, after unchecking the field “Hide out of stock items from the catalog” the products are now seen, but now all out of stock products are seen on the site and I don’t want that.

Problem is, that with that checked even products in stock are not shown, as mentioned above

disabling composit products does not help, neither does any other plugin. It only works with xstore disabled.

If I manually remove this relationship in mysql is works ok

    Hello, ziga32,

We would like to inform you that the error is currently visible on the homepage. You can easily reproduce it by simply scrolling down to the bottom of the page.

At the moment, we can confirm that the product is being displayed correctly in the search results.

Additionally, we strongly advise against making direct changes to the database. Doing so may disrupt the proper execution of WooCommerce hooks. For example, when updating product stock quantities, multiple related values are affected—not just the stock count. If you choose to proceed with direct database modifications, it is essential to clear the WooCommerce caches to ensure proper functionality.

To do this, please navigate to WooCommerce → Status → Tools and clear the following:

    – WooCommerce transients
    – Expired transients
    – Term counts
    – Brands transients

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

    Best regards,

Products are displayed in search results, with “Hide out of stock items from the catalog” enabled and also composite products plugin enabled. That’s great, But what did you do? Because that same scenario does not show products on my live page, komponentko.si…

    I cleared all of this:
    – WooCommerce transients
    – Expired transients
    – Term counts
    – Brands transients

    Hello, ziga32,

Regarding your live website, please ensure that any additional caching plugins, such as WP Rocket, WP Super Cache, or W3 Total Cache, are also cleared.

If you are using a CDN (Content Delivery Network), we kindly recommend clearing its cache as well to ensure all changes are properly reflected.

    Hello, ziga32,

We did not make any significant changes, except for clearing the cache. The only modification was the correction of a PHP error on your end.

I need the website to have products found in search. Currently they are not, unless I turn off xstore. What do I need to do?
