I have product with 4 variable attributes, the first attribute has 4 variations the second 8 and the third 9 and the fourth 4 variations. so each product will have 1152 variations. it will be a over load to create 1152 variations for more than about 150 products. since the website is a catalogue website I want to only display the variations attributes on the products page without creating the actual variations.

if the first method is not possible I would like to create only one product and put the variable attributes in additional Info but display the variations colors as small thumbnails.

    Hello, @Srinivasan,

We invite you to read the official documentation of WooCommerce regarding variable products, which can be found here: https://woocommerce.com/document/variable-product/. This functionality is provided by WooCommerce.

    This functionality comes from WooCommerce
    here is an example – https://prnt.sc/gqd4pdtqb80R > https://prnt.sc/beXQHOdDgqyU
or “Used for variations” option can be unchecked here – https://prnt.sc/rW1VfHlxhUyA > https://prnt.sc/VBW9PcOi1VI_

We hope this information is helpful.

    Best Regards,
