    Hello,

    After the latest update, we are facing multiple issues related to the cart and product tables on our website. I have tested two premium table plugins — both work fine when switching to a different theme (e.g., Storefront), but not with XStore.

    Issue with CodeAstrology Product Table Plugin:

    The AJAX/quick quantity feature in the table has stopped working. It only functions properly when there is at least one product already in the cart. Switching to the Storefront theme resolves the issue, which indicates a possible theme conflict.

    Issue with PVT Product Table Plugin:

    We also tested this plugin, but the issue persists. When a user adds a product to the cart using the table’s “Add to Cart” button, the cart appears empty until the page is refreshed — then the quantity is displayed correctly.

    This suggests that AJAX functionality is not working as expected on the frontend with the current theme setup.

    if you can also tell us where and how to download older version of xstore, we should move to it, and then figure out what is causing the ajax error to the site while talking with these product table plugin folks

    I’ve shared staging credentials where both plugins are active for your review.
    Please look into this as soon as possible as it’s causing significant issues for our customers.

    Thank you,

    Please, contact administrator
    for this information.

    Hello Jack,

    To test the issue I mentioned, please make sure the cart is empty before trying.

    I’ve shared the page link in the private content area.

    Let me know if you’re able to replicate the problem.

    Dear @Shehzad Ghazi,

    We hope this message finds you well.

    Could you kindly test whether the same issue persists when using a default WordPress theme, such as Storefront? You can switch themes by navigating to Appearance → Themes in your WordPress dashboard.

    If the issue continues to occur regardless of the theme in use, it is likely that the problem is not theme-related. In such a case, we recommend reaching out to the official WooCommerce support team via the following link: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/

    Additionally, we would appreciate it if you could provide us with a link to your staging website or a video demonstrating the expected functionality. This will help us better understand the issue. Please also share the URLs of the plugins you are currently using so that we can download and test them in our local environment.

    Thank you for your cooperation.

    Hi Jack,

    As mentioned in my initial message, changing the theme resolves the issue. I also mentioned that the problem occurs only when there are no products in the cart.

    In addition, I’ve already shared staging credentials to help with debugging.

    The product tables are currently enabled for you to investigate.

    Attached the video link where you can see I am unable to add item on the cart using both table.

    Please see how we can fix it.

    Thanks,

    Dear @Shehzad Ghazi,

    We’ve added this custom JS code and it fixed the error:

    jQuery(document.body).on('added_to_cart removed_from_cart', function() {
        jQuery.ajax({
            type: 'POST',
            url: wc_add_to_cart_params.ajax_url, // WooCommerce's AJAX URL
            data: {
                action: 'woocommerce_get_refreshed_fragments' // The AJAX action
            },
            success: function(response) {
                if (response && response.fragments) {
                    jQuery.each(response.fragments, function(key, value) {
                        jQuery(key).replaceWith(value); // Update elements with new HTML
                    });
                }
            }
        });
    });

    Can you please check again?

    Thank you!

    Hi Luca,

    Thank you for providing the code, it did resolve the issue. However, I’m still unsure if this is the ideal long-term solution.

    We’re facing a similar issue with another table on the same product page, which is powered by CodeAstrology. This is our main product table that we’ve been using for a long time. It includes a quick quantity feature that adds or removes products instantly without reloading the page.

    Unfortunately, this functionality also stops working when the cart is empty. Strangely, switching the theme to XStore resolves the issue completely, which suggests it might be theme-related.

    Could you please help us find a permanent solution that ensures this functionality works regardless of the theme same like before?

    Your continued support on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks again,

    Dear @Shehzad Ghazi,

    We hope this message finds you well.

    We have identified a JavaScript error in the browser console, which you can view at the following link: https://prnt.sc/tr5gamsISYKj.

    The error appears to originate from the following file associated with the plugin:
    https://b3058aabda.nxcli.io/wp-content/plugins/woo-product-table/assets/js/wpt-control.js?ver=5.0.5.0

    Could you kindly reach out to the plugin’s author to investigate and resolve this issue?

    Thank you for your attention to this matter.

    Best regards,

    Hi Luca,

    Thanks for highlighting the issue. Yes, we’ve already communicated it to the plugin’s author.

    In the meantime, could we also investigate this from the theme’s side? As I mentioned earlier, the issue appears to be resolved when switching to a different theme.

    Thanks again for your support.

    Dear @Shehzad Ghazi,

    We regret to inform you that issues related to third-party plugins fall outside the scope of our support and should be addressed directly with the plugin’s author.

    However, if you would like to suggest compatibility between those plugins and our XStore theme, we kindly invite you to submit your suggestion on our Taskboard at https://www.8theme.com/taskboard/. Should your idea receive significant support from other users, our development team will thoroughly consider its implementation in a future update.

    Best regards,
    The 8Theme Team
