    Hi,

Since updating the theme and woocommerce to the latest versions my product images are blurry!

Just wondering if this is a theme / woocommerce issue as I have not changed any settings and everything worked fine before.

Website in private (please do not post images up on the forum)

I have regenerated thumbnails, it has made no difference at all.

Images seem to be most affected on mobile devices such as the iPhone and iPad.

Is there some kind of CSS issue in woocommerce or conflict with the theme?

    Hello,

Check, please, if you have this problem with default theme or with our theme only? Very likely problem is related to latest WP update and does not depend on our theme.

    Olga,

You still need to make sure your theme works with latest updates from WordPress and woocommerce.

However I think the problem is more likely to be woocommerce and your theme not dealing with CSS ?

Can I ask why you say it is WordPress Olga?

Have they changed how they deal with images?

The images are for products so that makes me think that woocommerce deal with these or the theme deals with the image sizes no?

    Hello,

It is a question of images in general, no matter where they were used. Read here https://make.wordpress.org/core/2015/11/10/responsive-images-in-wordpress-4-4/

Anyway, have you checked if you have this problem with default theme?

    Olga,

    Ok what I have done.

I tried default twenty 14 theme with WordPress 4.4, as you suggested the same issue!

What I did next, downgraded WordPress to the previous version… Bingo! images back to normal.

I’m sticking with the previous WordPress version for now.

The link mentioned that it works with most themes but if not using the WP calculate attribute?

I would be happy to implement this in the theme if you advise where I need to put such functions?

Or I’m happy to wait until a theme update implements this, why did WordPress not have such an option to disable srcset feature is beyond me.

I’m sure I won’t be the only person using your theme and using 4.4 facing this same issue so any fix / solution would be appreciated by all.

    Thanks Olga 🙂

    Hello,

Use this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/ricg-responsive-images/ with WP 4.4.
