Hi

Im in the middle of creating a product, but I would like to know what image size to use for my products on the product page itself. Is there a one size for all ? Because I’m uploading images and the image size I’m using is 566×611 at the moment but it looks really bad on this site as its enlarged it. So I would like to know what sizes to use for as my product featured images.

Hello,

Your original images should have approximate dimensions 1425px × 1900px.
Upload your images in high resolution.

Hi

I’ve uploaded an image of the size 1425×1900 to a product however the product featured image looks really bad and blury when uploaded.

You can see how bad it looks when the image is very high quality originally.

What can we do about this?

we have opened your test product image and it is displayed correctly without any blur:

Is it displayed in other way for you?

Hi

In your screenshot, the product image only appears in good quality because you have hovered your mouse over it which has zoomed into the image so it shows it at 100% image size in a small box : Screenshot –

As you can see the product image looks extremely blurry and bad, however if you was to hover over the image it would appear in good quality as proven by the above screenshot.

What I want is for the product image to look good and in high quality straightaway without the user having to hover and zoom into the image. This is a basic requirement of a E Commerce theme and I don’t get how you guys can be confused about this.

So can you guys please give me the optimised/best image size to use for my products so they appear good straight away. If the lightbox feature of the theme (where you hover your mouse over the image and it zooms in) is the cause of this problem then I don’t mind if you guys just disable it for me .

Hello,

I’ve changed Woocommerce settings for images as described in our documentation https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/royal/#!/woocommerce and regenerated thumbnails with the help of plugin http://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/ .
Please clear browser cache and check your image now.
