I have WooCommerce 9.9.5 and the latest version of XStore. In this version of WooCommerce, a field called Product Cost appears in the General tab of variable products.

If I set a default WooCommerce theme, the field appears correctly, but if I activate the XStore theme, it appears hidden and doesn’t display.

You can try it with this product:
    ID: 12202
    SKU: 7591

    Can u help me please?

I need this field to display as the standard WooCommerce theme does.

    Dear @Crashraider,

Thank you for your patience, and please accept our apologies for the delayed response.

We have reviewed the product you mentioned through the backend settings; however, we were unable to locate the specific field you referred to (please see the screenshot here: https://prnt.sc/6yWMKdatCv9W).

To assist you more effectively, could you kindly provide us with detailed steps to reproduce the issue? Additionally, we would greatly appreciate it if you could share a video demonstrating the expected results using the default theme. This will help us investigate the matter further and explore a potential global solution.

    Thank you for your cooperation.

Please see the attached images. In the image, with the default “Twenty Twenty-Two” theme, the “Product Cost” field appears in the general tab of a variable product. (CostField_with_default_theme.JPG)

However, if you set the “XStore” theme, this field does not appear in the general tab of a variable product. (CostField_is_hidden_with_XStore_Theme.JPG)

    Dear @Crashraider,

We hope this message finds you well.

We have identified an issue on the product backend and have some insights into the possible cause. Our theme adds custom fields to the product tabs, and it appears that your plugin also introduces additional fields. However, it seems that the location your plugin uses may be conflicting with ours, as both rely on the same hook to insert options. This may be causing the product data table to break.

To help us investigate further, could you kindly provide the URL or name of the plugin you are using? This will allow us to review its code and better understand the conflict.

    Thank you for your cooperation.

    Best regards,
    The 8Theme Team

Which plugin? I don’t use any right now. I used to have the “Cost of Goods Sold for WooCommerce” plugin from Addify, but I have it deactivated.

The Cost field shown in the video and images is a WooCommerce core field that was added in version 9.9.

If you deactivate all plugins and leave only the WooCommerce plugin, it behaves the same way and still doesn’t appear in the field.

    Dear @Crashraider,

We hope this message finds you well.

Upon our review, we have identified that the WooCommerce plugin modifies the structure when the following option is enabled: https://prnt.sc/G7eMfmGeG-dO. In response, we have developed a solution to address this behavior, which will be included in the upcoming global update of the theme.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
