Product categories missing on shop page!

Hello! I have a problem with displaying categories on the shop page, and in any widget (ex: homepage), they do not appear. On the archive page it works. What I noticed is that it does not work for me when I use a child theme. Can you check?

Upload the video on a filesharing service, for example – https://wetransfer.com/ , and provide us with the URL.

Could you please provide temporary wp-admin access? We need to check your settings.

To grant WP-Admin access, please proceed to create a new user account with an administrator role through your WordPress Dashboard. Once the account is established, you may securely transmit the username and password to us via the Private Content section designated for this purpose.

We kindly suggest temporarily removing your custom code from the functions.php file of your child theme and checking the result. This will help determine whether the issue in question is being caused by that code.

Thanks for the recommendation, but these were the first steps taken, you can test it yourself, this is not the problem, I even created a new child theme, the same problem is there. Please check the reported problem in more detail.

I checked, indeed the problem on the shop page was solved. The problem of displaying the categories in the widget on the home page (product categories widget) remained, I also pointed it out in the video.

Please be informed that the following files have been modified:

et-core-plugin/app/models/widgets/categories-filter.php et-core-plugin/app/controllers/elementor/general/categories-lists.php

These changes will be included in the next theme update. You do not need to worry about these files being overwritten, as they are part of the plugin and cannot be replaced via a child theme or by any other means.
