    I know this is a newbie question.

    What is the simplest way to change the styling of the product categoris menu widget?
    font, font size, color, sidebar/widget is too wide…..

    Hello,

    I do not see categories on your Home page. Do you mean Categories widget on the Shop sidebar http://prntscr.com/r66au4 ?
    Here you can find some settings – http://prntscr.com/r66ap3 and in Theme Options > WooCommerce (Shop) > Shop elements > Categories.
    Styling can be changed by custom CSS code. Describe the desired result in more detail and I will help you with the custom code.
    To change the width of the sidebar, go to Pages > Edit Shop page > [8theme] Layout options > Sidebar width.
