Product Add-to-Cart not showing in header Cart widget

From a Product page, the Add-to-Cart button works. But the page does not refresh to show that the order has been added to the Cart.

Manually refreshing, or clicking the “empty” cart widget refreshes the page and shows the order in the Basket. But having to do this is confusing and frustrating for the user.

Could you please advise on how to fix this issue? Thanks.

Hello,

Please update WPBakery Visual Composer plugin https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/page/2/ and try to disable 3-rd party plugins (means the plugins that are not included in the theme package are not in the list of required plugins), then check your issue.

Thank-you for your prompt reply.

Following your suggestions, I found that there was a problem caused by the plugin; “Woocommerce One Page Checkout”. I have since deleted that plugin and I am using the 8theme Quick Checkout instead. The page now refreshes when the Add to Cart button is clicked.
