    Hi there,

    since the beginning of working with your theme I have problems to display images properly. For example, I want to include a simple image on a newly created site with Visual Composer. I upload the file to the media and then include it in the image-options in VC. If i put in the following for image size this is what happens:
    leave blank – thumbnail size
    medium – image appears as 200x300px
    large – image is only shown like this: http://de.tinypic.com/r/2mwdkrm/8
    custom size – image is also only shown like this: http://de.tinypic.com/r/2mwdkrm/8

    as you can see, i have the same problem with my logo…

    Now here it comes: this happens only to images I uploaded myself – it works with images from your demo-content.
    Do you have any idea why this could happen? Also in the media area, some pictures (only some) are not shown properly: http://de.tinypic.com/r/2lw3i1g/8

    I am really confused, it would be great if you could give me a hint…

    Thanks!

    Hello,

    Your images can’t be shown because there are wrong permissions for the “uploads” folder in wp-content directory. There is an error in the console:
    “GET http://test.greenyogashop.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/logo.png 500 (URL Rewrite Module Error.)”

    Also I’m unable to change permissions for uploads folder getting a notice:
    “500 ‘SITE CHMOD 777 uploads’: command not understood”
    Please ask your host to change permissions.

    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hi Eva,

    thank you, I need to check then with my provider. There seems to be an issue with the file permissions.

    I have another questions regarding images: I followed the instructions from this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9cj6o9ZRovY to create a dropdown menu and include a picture. But its very complicated to control the size and position of the image. What is the best approach here to make it the size and position i want? In the video they explain to include an empty Link and so on but this doesnt work for me and is not a clean solution… this must be possible somehow as other themes offer this as well, e.g. see here what i mean: http://flatsome.uxthemes.com/

    Thanks!

    Hello,

    You can set image size using CSS classes from et-col1 to et-col12.
    I’ve added et-col6 to the image-item class in Appearance > Menus. Please check the image now.

    Thank you.

    Hi Eva,

    ok, I see what you did…thanks. Is there any other way to change the position, e.g. align the picture with the bottom border of the drop down menu? At the moment there is a 10px padding between the picture and the lower border of the dropdown.

    Thx!

    Hello,

    You can add this code in custom.css file:

    .main-nav .menu > li.menu-full-width .nav-sublist-dropdown {
    padding: 25px 0 0px !important;
    }

    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.
