I’ve encountered a strange error with the admin side of Woocommerce product pages. If I try to add product gallery images it sort of freezes on the following popup window – I can select an image from the media library but clicking “Add to gallery” button does nothing. Clicking upload files link likewise does nothing and I can in fact not even close the entire popup window!

Also on the edit product page it seem I can not add to or view the tags for the product. All of these things works well for ordinary posts but not at all for Woocommerce products.

I have updated both woocommerce (there’s now a message saying Your theme (WooPress – 8theme WordPress theme) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files”) and added WPML but I’m not sure which one of these things might be the culprit.

I’ve tried with both Chrome and Firefox so I think it’s safe to assume this is not a browser issue, and on the front end of the site everything seems normal.

Small update: looking at the Javascript console in Chrome it seems I get the error “Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘getRelatedTab’ of undefined” when I try to click the add to gallery button. Clicking the X in the top right corner of the popup window yields the same error.

Okay, here you go. It definitely seems related to WPML Multilingual CMS because if I deactivate that plugin it works again.

    Please, contact administrator
    for this information.

    Hello,

The same problem persists with default WordPress theme, activate Twenty Fifteen theme and check it yourself.
You should contact WPML support regarding this issue. Sorry.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.
