Hello Rose,

I need your help, I updated the theme to version 4.4 and I could notice that there is a problem in the source code in relation to the title, the same is being duplicated, I believe that because of the Yoast SEO plugin.

See below screenshot of the source code where I circled the title tag:

How can I fix this?

Hello Olga,

I checked and the problem is still there, it was not fixed and something else, I could verify that you disabled the plugins and this caused you to unconfigure everything from security to the connection with Jetpack …

Detail, I need to know what has been repaired or done so that I can update the files if any changes were made to the child theme file.

Strang, code is there again. We have edited both parent and child theme header.php and title code should be removed http://prntscr.com/k9xfx7
I have removed it again.

One question, was there a need to remove the parent theme code?

I ask because when updating the theme the code will come back right?

Hello,

No, we’ll remove the code in next theme update because the correct code is in other theme file and this code just duplicates the title.
