Good afternoon,

After I update both the XStore Main theme and the Core Plugin my site looks completely different and I start having a variety of WooCommerce bugs and individual pages start loading blank.

This is not a cache issue – the issue remains after clearing the cache.

Hello,

5.0 was the major theme update where we made improvements not just PHP, JS code but also CSS and UI/UX, you can check the changelog and demo https://xstore.8theme.com/update-history/

I have changed theme settings (Typography options, Breadcrumbs options, Header options, Menu options) and added some custom styles to child theme to get back some old styles that I could. Check the site now, please, and let me know your thoughts.

I did not face any blank page during my work on your site, so check the server error logs to find out what problems caused the white screen. Also, describe in more details other WoCommerce bugs that you have, we’ll check if they are related to our theme.

Hello,

Yes, sure. After plugins and theme update on the live site move the child theme style.css from the staging to live site. Then go to staging site > Theme Options > Import/Export > copy options export code http://prntscr.com/m7fwna then go to production site > Import/Export > press import from file and paste the code http://prntscr.com/m7fx3r + press Import button. That’s all.

Hi there,

This same issued happened again. I updated my theme and XStore plugin and all the settings broke – my website no longer looks like the same and colours, fonts, etc. are all lost.

Please see attachment links in the private area – they show the differences after update, among others that are not listed.

I had to revert my live site back to the old version of the theme. You can compare the attachment links to my live website: https://buybcbud.com/

How can I get update without losing all my settings?

Hello,

After the update you just need to re-save Theme Options (go to Theme Options > click on Publish), then clear all cache.
