    I went through the update process from 4.x to 5.x last night and had to make quite a few tweaks but got the desktop version working almost back to normal. I went to check the site on mobile (google pixel phone) and it’s not working at all. When you scroll down quickly you can see that it looks like the site is scrolling inside the header block and just has a white screen otherwise. Need some help to get this sorted out ASAP.

    What’s weird is I can downsize the window in my web browser to the smallest setting and the site is fine on my desktop running that way. Admin Dashboard loads fine as well.

    Turned off caching plugin and cleared all cache. Checked through as man settings as I could think of and still nothing.

    Core is updated to 1.1.6 as well. Had issues with that initially and updated.

    All plugins are up to date.

    Hello,

    I’ve checked your site on Samsung mobile Chrome browser and do not see the problem.
    Have you cleared cache of browser?
    Please try to check how your site looks in another browser or device.

    Regards

    Looks like that was the issue on that phone. Browser cache cleared and we’re good. Thanks!

    Only other problem I have is that on the black background header, the hamburger menu does not show up in the top left corner until you scroll down and the background goes white. Any thoughts on how to fix that? I’d also like that logo to be larger on the mobile site if possible. Is there a setting for that image size in the mobile header?

    1) Theme Options > Header > Mobile header > Mobile header text color.
    2) Please try to add this code in Theme Options > Custom css > Custom css for mobile:

    .header-logo img {
        max-width: 180px !important;
    }

    Regards

    Perfect. Is that the maximum recommended width on the logo?

    Also, is there no longer a layout option for one page checkout?

    Thanks for the help! I like the new system features compared to the 4.x branch.

    Hello,

    We are very glad to hear that you like our changes.
    Everything depends on the user’s logo. We use 120px as the max recommended width of the mobile logo but if you prefer the bigger logo than that custom CSS is your solution.
    We did not have the one-page checkout. Can you explain in more details, please?

    Regards

    I thought it used to be a little more streamlined but maybe I am wrong?

    One more problem. When an order fails payment, the checkout/orderpay page is just reloading and not giving an error message to the customer so they don’t know that the order failed and they are confused. It simply reloads the page. It used to have an error come up that would tell the customer the card was declined, etc. This was happening before the major upgrade as well. What do you think that issue could be?

    On top of the previous error, we have found the following:

    We’d like to remove the compare and wishlist options but can’t find the correct setting to disable those two features.

    Hello,

    1) Provide, please, temporary Dashboard and FTP access to your site to check and help you with the checkout issue.
    2) Go to Plugins > disable Compare and Wishlist plugins if you don’t want to have these features. Actually, make sure that you have enabled only those plugins that you really use and disable all the unnecessary plugins.

    Regards
