    Hello,

    Today I tried to update theme from 1.8 to 2.3.

    However I had to return to 1.8 which was stable since once updated the visual composer didn’t open for editing on pages and many js fuctions of it didn’t work.

    I don’t know if there is any solution to this but I hope your next upgrade will be functional or at least compatible to visual composer.

    Hello,

    Have you updated all plugins to the latest versions too?
    You can download them here:
    https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/

    We don’t have any issues with VC editor on our test site with theme version 2.3.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Yes Eva,

    I updated everything but when I viewed this page http://www.avart.gr/?page_id=22494 it didn’t load the text on the left. When I tried to edit the text just in case it was a problem with that, when I clicked on the little pen nothing was happening.

    When I activated old theme, vc was working ok and so the effects of it.

    I can give you access to to test it yourself if you like.

    Hello and thank you very much that problem is solved.

    I need your help to a few more things that came up after upgading.

    1. product tabs

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/5d8kb2a9fvbeto7/shot.PNG?dl=0

    Can I still have the previous style, like on your demo?
    https://www.8theme.com/demo/royal/

    And if not, how i can make the font bold to the existing tabs?

    2. Seconday menu
    You added a new menu which is great but to my case it gets confused with the main menu.
    Is it the logo, the font that makes it confused? Can I do something to separate them?

    On the image below the titles with yellow are from the main menu and those must be on one line.

    Thank you in advance

    One more thing, on the slider the arrows are not being displayed after upgrading the revslider.

    What can be wrong with that?

    Hello,

    1. The tabs styles were modified in the recent version of Visual Composer plugin, this is not theme customization.
    To make the tabs font bold add this code in Theme Options > Custom CSS > Global Custom CSS:

    .vc_tta-color-grey.vc_tta-style-classic .vc_tta-tab > a {
       font-weight: bold !important;
    }

    2. I don’t see issue with menu:
    http://storage2.static.itmages.com/i/15/1126/h_1448567600_3477955_0b9f30fcf8.png

    What browser are you checking in?

    3. The problem with slider arrows has been fixed.
    Please check.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Eva I created one more shot to make you understand that main menu goes below while it should have been on 1 line. By going below it meets the secondary which is not good. How can each menu be situated in each own separate line?

    I use both FF and chrome but it is not a browser issue cause it is wrong to your shot as well.

    Hello,

    Please try to use this code in Custom CSS for desktop:

    .fixed-header-area #menu-secondary-menu {
        margin-top: 100px !important;
    }

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Eva, there is one more that goes below

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/nhjcb4ztzg94npv/shot2.PNG?dl=0

    Can we do something for that?

    Also i found out that on product tabs can be added css.

    What shall I add to have your style?
    https://www.8theme.com/demo/royal/

    As it is now it doesn’t match with theme’s look and feel.

    Thank you in advance for your help.

    Hello

    Please add following code to adjust menu:
    .fixed-header-area .menu > li.current-menu-item > a{padding: 20px 10px 15px 10px;}
    Please specify what kind of product page styling you would like to implement.

    Regarding the secondary menu look what happens if a product is added on cart. Again a mess.

    Hello,

    Try to use this code in Custom CSS for desktop:

    .fixed-header-area .fixed-header > .container {
      width: 1260px;
    }
    .menu > li > a {
       padding: 20px 0px 15px 21px !important;
    }

    As I told you in the previous post tabs styles were modified in the recent version of Visual Composer plugin, this is not theme customization. Our demo uses old versions of theme and Visual Composer plugin that’s why design differs.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    You may decrease menu padding value for links to 5 px with following code.
    .fixed-header-area .menu #menu-home_menu_gr-1 > li > a{padding: 20px 5px 15px 5px !important}

    Hello Eva,

    by adding the code given, issue with fixed header has been fixed! Thank you very much!

    Regarding the product tabs now, your them has a certain style and no matter the plugin changes the buyers and owners of the theme must be able to achieve that style no matter the plugin changes. Mind you, if I have seen your demo today and asked you to help me achieve what I have seen on your current demo, what you would have told me?

    Besides, on November 25, 2015 at 7:20 pm and message #101349 you wrote:

    If your test site uses the latest VC version then you must have the same issues. And if it is a known issue then why you show something different and nicer on your demo while the future and current buyers cannot have it?

    On the screensot below you will see the style I want to have instead of the ugly and old fashioned tabs. Please help me achieving it as it is part of this nice theme.

    Dear Eva,

    Please check again how the live shows here https://www.dropbox.com/s/4f2p2jci7qxwsvf/Screenshot%202016-07-09%2022.48.44.png?dl=0

    and how I need the final look at the shot I sent you above
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/shgruydvfwegw84/shot.jpg?dl=0

    The arrows are very bad to new version. I need them to look as the furniture shot.
    Also the new arrivals and featured links being between lines and the selected link to be highlighted is far too nicer than the one now.

    Please help me to make your theme as nice as it was when I bought it.

    Hello,

    Use this code in Global Custom CSS:

    .vc_tta-color-white.vc_tta-style-modern.vc_tta-tabs .vc_tta-panels {
        background-color: transparent;
        border-color: transparent;
    }
    .vc_tta.vc_general .vc_tta-panels-container .carousel-area .owl-controls .owl-next {
       right: -20px;
    }
    .vc_tta.vc_general .vc_tta-panels-container .carousel-area .owl-controls .owl-prev {
       left: -20px;
    }
    .vc_tta-color-white.vc_tta-style-modern .vc_tta-tab.vc_active > a {
        border-color: transparent;
        background-color: transparent;
    }
    .vc_tta-color-white.vc_tta-style-modern .vc_tta-tab > a {
        border-color: transparent;
    }

    I’ve added Post Grid element under Posts Slider. Please check it.
    As VC authors updated Post Grid element, it differs from our demo, because on our demo site we use old plugin version.
    To show posts excerpts go to Theme Options > Blog layout > Excerpt length(words) and set words number to display.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.
