WE CAN’T WAIT! Our site is currently unable to take orders and we just launched a new product line. This is horrific!!! I started a new thread with more information as – please wait, sorry you can’t take any orders, is just awful!

Hi, CJMillar What I did is go back to previous version of Legenda and Woocommerce. Replace them with and your site will work again. If it is from a backup its better!

Always do a backup it helps, most of all when you want to update a plugin or theme.

8theme is the best responsable company that I know, they will find a solution 🙂

go back and change to previous version and it will be ok.

    Best Regards

    Hi 8theme Team,

I did the updated and before going back to the to previous versions I did tested the error of the add to cart bottom and it did not solve the issue.

As I told the problem is like the woocommerce team said.

You can try it your self if you want but please when you finish testing go back to previous version IF THE SITE HAS THE FATAL ERROR IN CHECKOUT and CART PAGE. (You will see the fatal error in shipping opcions)

Please do it fast as we are online.

    thanks

I have a backup that I can roll back to, but then I ALSO need to re-add the products that had been added since the last updates and deal with some of the prior issues we’ve had with the site. There hasn’t been any regular point of time where we’ve had the site run properly without ongoing issues with this theme.

At this point, I think we need to just change themes and call it quits here because this is awful! I’ve already lost customers due to these issues, and keep losing more.

    Hi

Dont restore the data base only the files or better only the woocommerce and the theme. I dont think that you will lose them if you do so.

    Also backup first.

I am with both of you – as in my Add to Cart button on the product pages isn’t working at all. Everything is updated, but this actually started just before I updated to both the latest theme version and the latest Woocommerce version. Customers are emailing me and so mad, because I launched a webinar release yesterday and everyone is trying to hurry and get a seat. I have always been able to overcome and issue and the 8theme team has always rocked. I am hoping they get this resolved soon, because I feel you on losing customers and time responding to all of the emails asking why they can’t check out.

I can’t believe the issues here.

If we need to roll back to a different / older version, I’d like to know which version, of theme and/or WooCommerce, and where I can re-download them so that I’m installing totally clean files to see if this can be fixed. Beyond frustrated.

After much testing, I found that the current theme version, coupled with WooCommerce 2.1.8 will allow checkout if anyone else needs to roll it back.

HOWEVER, I’ve now lost all prior order history. I know it’s in the database somewhere, as it’s all been backed up. How can I restore the data to show in my admin panel for the website so I can see prior orders until the new theme is updated/fixed?!

Any and all help is appreciated! Thank you!

    Hello @CJMillar82,

Your hosting provider should make backups on a server.
You need ask them to restore a database from the back up they have.

Also we recommend you to create back up of the files and database yourself every time before update (theme or plugins).

    Thank you.

    Eva Kemp.

I was able to export from my dev server all the order data, and import it into the current site which worked fine, however now all I see on the Orders page is the total order count, but no order details. I know they are there, but I just can’t them to display. Any ideas?!

I am also having the issue where you can’t add individual products to the cart by clicking through from the product page. Here is an example: http://giddyupgear.com/product/govelope-pro-baker/

It just gets hunt up trying to add to cart. Any help would be greatly appreciated in resolving this, thank you!

    its may be cousing issues.

    download this plugin :

    WordPress HTTPS

it will fix all problems coused by http and https.
you can see when you go to checkout the https in red in the link or url.

also why you dont have “https://www” in your url or links?

also check the status of woocommerce. it will tell you if you have something wrong with your woocommerce pages.

I do have SSL certificate. I’ll try that plugin. Currently I’m on 2.6 Legenda, but can rollback to a prior version – just need to figure out via GoDaddy how to do just that rather than restore the entire site.

To roll back WooCommerce, I was able to re-download the older versions of WooComm via the web, and then install via FTP (that’s how I mistakenly lost order visibility).

    So the issues are:
I will test new SSL plugin and let you know how it goes – thank you for your help!
Do I need to roll back to Legenda 2.5 and if so what is the best way to do this?
Any idea how to re-add the orders to be viewable in WooCommerce as they are there (total order count is there) but nothing shows up under detail – please help!!!

    Thank you!!!!
    I have hope!!!

ohhh godaddy mmm run as fast as you can to another host. I tryed every thing with them manneged wordpress, cpanel hosting then level 3 till I gived up. I recommend you siteground they will help you with everything including problems like you are having now. Goddady will tell you “we only give support for our hosting”. Siteground check every thing and tell you what to do to fix it in 15 min 24 hours a day.

What I would do is go to a back up when the orders where there and print them (you can add them manualy latter). then go back to a backup with Legenda 2.5 and woocommerce 2.2.1.1. Fix the permalinks issue and the ssl https issue. Add the products that are missing then do a back up. If you are with godaddy manneged wordpress then they automaticaly do a daily backup for files and database.

The best way to go back is using a backup! with the database from the same time and date.

If you like I can help you but I need access for admin wordpress and ftp files and I know that its not posible. So you need to do it by your self.

    Sorry for my bad english.

another thing… Dont even think about using super cache or total cache or any plugin like that. as this may couse problems than solving speed issues. also uninstall them may couse problems if not done properly. Hope you are not using this kind of plugin.
