Hi, we followed the instructions for mega menu here https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/xstore/#menu , it worked fine but today we wanted to do some changes. So we save menu after adding menu items to display the theme settings for the menu, it displays the setting but doesn’t take the changes. For example we have these settings https://goo.gl/zX98DS for a menu item but when we click to save the menu and the changes the page loads, it appears the message that menu updated but when open the same menu item it looks like this https://goo.gl/Ah3NM8 . Why is that??? we didnt changed anything, it worked until today. We had just added a plugin ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/real-time-find-and-replace/ ) which we deleted just in case and the problem still remaining.

    Theme had installed here http://abouthotelier.gr/demos/demo7/

Updated: you responded to us this https://goo.gl/9awBO8 on themeforest

There is no cache plugin and problem still persists.

    Please, contact administrator
    for this information.

    Hello,

If you have a lot of menu items and can’t save changes then you need to increase PHP Max Input Vars. By default it is 1000, try to set 5000 or 8000 for example. Let me know if you still have the issue after that.

    Regards

    Hello,

It’s related to your server settings. Please, contact your hosting provider to change this value.

We increased PHP Max Input Vars to 8000 but still the same problem. As this moment the site (http://abouthotelier.gr/demos/demo7/) has 2 mega menus like this Mega menu screenshot

But we also want the last top menu item to be mega menu but it just cannot be saved simple menu screenshot

    Hello,

You did not change max input vars http://prntscr.com/cq6tzc
Please, follow the instructions http://www.mhthemes.com/support/how-to-remove-wordpress-menu-items-limit/ and don’t forget to restart your server after that to apply changes.

    Regards

Ok I did a mistake, here is the screenshot from php.ini file https://goo.gl/iKHsDZ , I left the symbol ; in front of the max_input_vars = 8000 . Mega menu is working now , thanks 🙂
