    Hello,
I have found an issue. We are using several ACF fields and some times these fields “disappear”, I mean, it’s value is not showed in template edition or front end view either.
If I add the same ACF field with an Elementor Widget from a provider different of Xstore, the value is showed. So I suppose that the problem is some kind of cache but I am no able to find out the origin of the issue.

Even stranger, the same field works fine in another template with the same Xstore’s widget type. So I am totally confused.

Can you help me? See data in private field.
Before writing you I have deleted and deactivated all cache (woo, elementor, php, …)

    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Javi.

    Hello @javi_web,

We regret to inform you that we were unable to log in to your website or preview it to check the private content. As a potential solution, you may try disabling the Elements cache by navigating to your Dashboard, then to Elementor, and selecting Settings. You can refer to this link for guidance: https://gyazo.com/024c7839db5a142548e04ec3229fa46c. Additionally, you might consider reaching out to ACF support, as they may be able to identify the issue related to their custom fields.

If you require further assistance from us, please provide the correct access to your website or remove the restrictions so that we can preview it.

    Best regards,

    Hello Jack,
Please, share with me your public IP address to whitelist you in the firewall.

Regarding your recommendation, have you read my post carefully? Why do you think it is an Elementor problem? It’s already in Elementor that when I select a widget from Dinamyc.ooo, it show the same ACF fields fine. Additionally, the same Xstore’s widget works as well in another template.

Last but not least, Elementor’s cache is already disabled (screenshot attached).

    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Javi.

    Hello @javi_web,

We kindly request that you unlock our IP, as mentioned in the private content. We believe the issue may be related to the ACF plugin as based on your tests, the dynamic ACF field content functions correctly with our widgets or the default widgets, but not with the ACF Fields widget, which is provided by their plugin. Therefore, we suggest contacting their plugin support team with this request. If you still believe that issue may be related to our theme, we are willing to investigate the issue further for you once access is restored.

    Hello Jack,
    Your IP is already whitelisted.

Maybe I didn’t explain myself clearly. Just the opposite, other provider’s widgets works well. Only the XStore’s ones are affected by this issue, only sometimes and only in some templates (not always the same one) as I explained you.

Please, take a look and let me know what you find out.

    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Javi.

    Hello @javi_web,

Unfortunately, our IP address is dynamic, which has prevented us from accessing your website. Could you please consider temporarily disabling the restrictions entirely? Otherwise, it will be challenging to identify a moment when we have a static IP with the necessary permissions to review the issue.

    Hello Jack,
Temporally, I have disabled the website’s protection. Besides, I have whitelisted not only your actual IP but also the IP range pattern I detected in your IPs.

Please, confirm me you can access now.

    Regards,
    Javi.

    Hello @javi_web,

Thank you for granting us access. We are now able to review your settings. Could you please clarify which widgets (widget names) are correctly displaying the ACF fields and which are not? This will allow us to compare the code of these widgets to identify the source of the issues.

    Hello Jack,
I sent you screenshots in the first post. If you edit the template you will find the alternative image field still there.
As alternative, please try to find out what is, if any, the difference between Brands and Categories template. Why the same field works in one template and not in the other?

    Regards,
    Javi.

    Hello @javi_web,

We have reviewed your settings and template configuration. It appears that the issue may be related to your template conditions, as your template is currently set to the Product Tag archive page (see: https://gyazo.com/06f5060729adc9ceb6c74cf21f8568dc). However, there are no such tags (see: https://gyazo.com/cad9dec0243caa75b3e4917187755b54, https://gyazo.com/e362b5f6a95345c7503ca1ee2cb725eb), which may result in some widget data not displaying the correct dynamic content, as it is removed and not assigned to such a tag. Please review your conditions and ensure that you are applying the correct ones. Additionally, you can use the default widget in such a template to verify if it works correctly and compare the results.

    Hello Jack,
Yesterday I created a support ticket with Elementor support team. As it was expected they began saying me “disable plugins, themes, …” to verify it’s an Elementor problem.

Well, after enable/disable plugins, themes, PHP extensions, …. I can confirm you:
    – The problem appear/disappear when my custom Xstore child theme is enabled/disabled. As you can see in attached screenshots, when a different theme is enabled ACF’s fields content appears. Images not actually, but we need move forward step by step. First text fields.

Besides, in order to discard the problem come from functions.php code I temporarily emptied it. I can confirm no changes in that case neither. I am totally confused, what theme option can take effect in such behaviour?

I need your help in order to resolve the issue with ACF’s fields.
Please, let me know how can we move forward.

    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Javi

    Hello @javi_web,

We apologize for the delay in our response. We are currently investigating the issue for some time but have not yet identified the specific setting that might be causing it. We will inform you as soon as we discover anything useful. In the meantime, you may also wish to check on your end or reach out to the ACF plugin support to see if they can provide any insights regarding potential causes, such as hooks or filters. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

    Hello Jack,
Ok, I will do right now. But, without expectations, they could say me the same thing about your theme/plugin. In fact, it’s the highest handicap Woocommerce has, from a developer side. When something goes wrong you have to invest a lot of time on testing, debugging and energy to convince providers the problem is theirs.

    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Javi.

    Hello @javi_web,

We carried out extensive testing on your website to isolate the cause of the issue. This required comparing the parent and child theme configurations, reviewing a large number of Theme Options, repeatedly importing different test configurations, and testing the options in progressively smaller groups.
After narrowing the issue down from approximately 180 different settings, we identified the exact option causing the conflict:

Move Out Of Stock Products To The End

When this option is enabled, the ACF values used through Elementor dynamic tags are not rendered in the Banner element on the frontend. Once the option is disabled, the ACF image and text values are displayed correctly again.

Please keep the following option disabled:
    (Screenshot)

We have confirmed the result through multiple tests, including testing this option separately from all other child-theme settings. The issue is therefore not caused by custom code in the child theme, custom CSS, Elementor configuration, or the ACF field setup itself. It is specifically connected to the Move Out Of Stock Products To The End option.

For now, disabling this option is the correct workaround and restores the expected ACF dynamic content on the frontend.

    Kind regards, Jack Richardson
    The 8theme’s team
