Problem updating new version (3.11.1) - by IvanMTK

    Hi there;

    Earlier today we updated your theme to the new version 3.11.1 and everything on the front end just disappeared, even the WP toolbar. Just a blank white screen. We restored the previous backup and now we are back to the previous version (3.10.1) and everything works as usual.

    Can you please help us with this update? We are using your child theme. We haven’t updated WooCommerce to the new version 3.0 yet.

    Hello,

    If you are using the old version of WC you can’t use the latest version of the XStore theme, only 3.10.1. If you want to update theme to version 3.11.1 you need to update WC plugin to version 3.0.1.

    Hi there;

    So today we updated to the new WooCommerce version and then your XStore theme, and there are some issues in some pages: shop, single product, etc. WooCommerce displays the following message:

    “Your theme (XStore Child) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. You can see which files are affected from the system status page. If in doubt, check with the author of the theme.”

    We are including more information on the Private Content section, including the System Status report. Please help us fixing these important issues.

    Hello,

    We’ll release version 3.12 of our theme that should fix problem with out of date files.
    So, you need to wait for theme update, then update parent theme on your site. If you still have out of date files in child theme after that you will need to compare parent theme files and your child theme files and add the difference. This service will help you to find difference in code https://text-compare.com/

    NEW Problem with SHOP page after update (WC3.0.5 and XStore3.12)

    Hi there;

    We have just updated your theme to 3.12, WooCommerce to 3.0.5 and even the Theme Core; and now we have a problem with our SHOP page. We’ve tried everything on the backend through your Theme Options (we saw some changes, like with the “Shopping cart/Wishlist/Search” options on the header) and through the WooCommerce settings, but nothing helped. Even the top WordPress toolbar disappeared on that page (while it’s visible everywhere else). We included a screenshot in the Private Section below. Status Report also included.

    Please helps us fix this.

    Hello,

    Problem on your Shop page is related to one of the third-party plugins that did not come bundled with our theme. Try to disable them one by one and check which one makes the problem. Besides the same situation even if you enable default theme, seems one of your plugins is not compatible with the new WC version.
