What exactly the demo version can’t be imported on your site? Were all required plugins installed – https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/36-included-plugins?
Make sure you have checked all the server requirements – https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/60-xstore-theme-requirements

Please describe the problem in more detail. Provide URL and temporary wp-admin access, so I can take a closer look and help you with the import.

The version of XStore theme was not the latest one on your site, but the version of the Core plugin was the latest, so this caused the problem. Everything should be fine now http://prntscr.com/prs5sa
