Hi, I have just updated the xstore theme and xstore core plug in and I have totally lost the header, the footer is now black and the extra code you provided to align the ‘add to basket’ buttons is not longer working. I have no clue what else isn’t working as the menu in the header is not there of course.

Can I please ask you to review as quickly as possible what is going on. Stupid me didn’t think this would break my website so I didn’t do a back up.

Colour scheme seems to have gone as well from the parts I can see.

    Hello,

Because child theme was active http://prntscr.com/urqwim not the parent one. Parent theme settings and child theme settings do not inherit each other. I have enabled child theme. Check your site now.

    Regards

    Thank you.

So when the parent theme is updated, I need to update it and the child theme will automatically update at the same time?

I must have just click activate on the parent theme by mistake when I updated it.

    Hello,

Child theme is a custom theme that could be used in case you need to change some styles or add new functionality or change existing functions https://www.8theme.com/documentation/docs/child-theme/ . You don’t need to update files of the child theme, only the parent theme. But keep the child theme enabled if you already set the header, styles using child theme.

    Regards
