    When I try to activate the theme I get the error message “API request call error. Contact your server providers and ask to update OpenSSL system library to the 1.0 version.”

    I have contacted my server provider and they say that they are running OpenSSL version 1.0.2k-fips. They also told me that the problem could be that they are blocking an IP when I try to activate the theme. How can I activate my theme?

    Hello,

    Contact your hosting provider and confirm that file_get_contents() function is enabled.

    Because looks like your server blocks outgoing connections.

    Regards

    Please contact your hosting provider support and ask them to increase the following PHP settings:
    – post_max_size to 64M;
    – upload_max_filesize to 64M.
    also ask them to make sure that file_get_contents, wp_remote_get(), wp_remote_post() functions are enabled on your server.

    Regards
