PostGrid and Media grid not working anymore since update of 10th of octobre

Hello since the update of 10th of octobre the mediagrid and postgrid are not able to show the content.

Is this a know issue, and how can I fix this.

Hello,

The issue persists with default WordPress theme too (activate Twenty Fifteen theme and check).
We updated VC plugin due to requirements of Envato and urgent XSS security vulnerability in the Visual Composer WordPress plugin versions prior to 4.7.4. Seems their update has some bugs which are causing this problem. To resolve it you need contact VC plugin authors as our theme doesn’t affect it.

Hi,

It is not possible to create a ticket with Visual composer, because the purchase link that is included with the theme is not recognized.

Is it possible that EightTheme can contact VC and keep me posted of the status?

Your earlier comment (#93183) that it is an issue with VC is not true, when I change to a default wordpress theme the media and post grid both work.

Please provide us with FTP and WP Dashboard credentials in private content.
Also clarify what the exact issues are with Post Grid and Media Grid elements.

The content is not visible through the mediagrid and the postgrid elements. As you can see on the home page in the back-end there is a mediagrid with 8 images selected, but in the front end no image is shown. The same is for the blog section, there are 2 blogs in the back-end but none are displayed in the front end.

But when I change the theme to wp default fifteen theme, all the images in the mediagrid are displayed, the same applies for the postgrid and the 2 blogs.

All of this was introduced with the update of VC version 4.7.4 due to the security patch.
