    Hello,

    1. Go to Theme Options > Blog layout > Excerpt length(words) and set words number you want to show.

    2. You can change the text in the file wp-content/themes/royal/framework/theme-functions.php (line 2877). The changes should be made in child theme https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes .

    3. Read the answer for question 1.

    4. You can change sizes on Blog page in Settings > Media and for Posts slider in the element settings:
    http://prnt.sc/bmgqf2

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    Hello,

    In this case you can use the WMPL plugin. Please read more in our documentation:
    https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/royal/index.html#!/1_how_to_translate

    21.2 Translation theme with WPML section.

    so, i believe did everything just right.

    opened default.po with poedit, translated what i wanted, and saved the as “pt_BR” which generated pt_BR.mo and pt_BR.po

    Placed these files into languages folder /wp-content/themes/royal/languages.

    edited wp-config.php located in the root folder of WordPress with:
    /** DEFINIR TRADUCAO – DUDU */
    define(‘WPLANG’, ‘pt_BR’);

    but, none of my translations are showing in the website.

    one example of what i translated is the buttom “READ MORE” on my blog page (http://boardcamp.com.br/cincobras/news/) was translated to “SAIBA MAIS”

    so, could you guys help me? thanks

    Hello,

    You should use $locale='pt_BR'; instead of WPLANG in wp-config.php file. Also make sure you added it in the beginning of the file or in the middle, not in the end.

    Please provide us with FTP credentials.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    oh gosh, wait a minute… it translated the entire wordpress admin, visual composer menu, etc :/

    i want the entire wp-admin area, visual composer and etc, all to remain in english. just the changes on the website to be translated. is that possible with the poedit translation? if not, then the only way would be editing the php files?

    Hello,

    Go to wp-content/languages directory via FTP and rename the files pt_BR.po and pt_BR.mo to pt.po and pt.mo. After that admin panel should be back in English.

    also, how do i create links so the visitors can change the site language? ps: this is just for visitors of the website, because i want the admin panel to be always in English 🙂

    i guess i already know how to use the poedit to translate and create the po and mo files in another languages…. so now, how can the visitor chose the language for the the site content?

    i created this page with 2 links, could you please use these links, or the language bar if you preffer, and show me how to do it?

    thanks a lot 🙂

    Hello,

    As I see your admin panel is in English now http://prntscr.com/bt52s5 .
    Have you resolved the issue?
    To make multilingual site you need use WPML plugin https://wpml.org/ which is compatible with our theme.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.
