    Hi there!
Is it possible to send a registration mail and order mail to a customer after manually creating a new order with a new customer from the admin panel?
Are there any settings or plugins?
    This would be great 🙂
    Thanks

    Hello, @mb-handmade,

We are grateful for your contacting our support team for assistance.

We would like to inform you that when orders are manually entered for existing registered customers via the WooCommerce admin panel, a registration email is not typically dispatched, as the customer’s registration is already on file. Nevertheless, the system should automatically send an order confirmation email to the customer.

To ensure that order confirmation emails are dispatched for manually entered orders, please adhere to the following procedure:

    1. Confirm Email Configuration:
    – Access your WordPress admin dashboard.
    – Proceed to WooCommerce > Settings > Emails.
    – Review the “New Order” email settings to confirm they are activated and properly set up.

For your reference, we have included a visual guide: https://ibb.co/qFt2zkk

    2. Verify Customer Accounts:
    – Ensure that the customer’s account is either created or linked to the order. For new customers, an account will need to be established.

    3. Conduct a Test:
    – Create a test order manually from the admin panel.
    – Verify if the order confirmation email has been received in the email inbox associated with the customer’s account.

Should you have any further inquiries or require additional assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us. For more detailed information, we encourage you to consult the documentation provided at the following link:

We are committed to ensuring your satisfaction and are here to support you every step of the way.

    Yours sincerely,

    Hello back!
Thank you for the quick response!
Now, it is possible to send an email after manually creating an order, but the user problem still remains.
If I create an order manually, no customer is created and therefore no welcome email is sent.
I would like to create an user account in the creation process of an order and then the email will be send automatically.
Are there any settings or plugins?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hello, @mb-handmade,

We kindly request that you conduct a diagnostic check by activating a default WordPress theme, such as Twenty Twenty-Four or Storefront, to ascertain whether the issue is with our theme.

Should the problem persist even with the default WordPress theme, we recommend reaching out to WooCommerce support for further assistance. Their expertise should help resolve the issue, which in turn is expected to ensure compatibility with our theme as well.

For your convenience, here is the link to WooCommerce support: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/

We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to your confirmation on the matter.

    Best regards,
    The 8Theme Team

I added a custom php code to the. functions.php to create a user account after creating backend order with user data.
    This worked.

Is there a possibility to add fees with tax included?
If I add products, the tax is included and iid I enter a tax for example 1 euro, then the tax is applied on top of this value.

    Hello, @mb-handmade,

In WooCommerce, you can set up taxes to be included in the product prices, and you can also add fees to orders. However, by default, fees are added on top of the product prices and taxes. If you want to include the tax in the fees, you might need to consider a workaround or use a custom solution.

The customization you seek is beyond the scope of our standard support services. We invite you to utilize our dedicated customization panel for tailored assistance. A skilled team, which includes experienced designers and developers, is available to provide you with the necessary support. You can access customization services at https://www.8theme.com/account/#etheme_customization_panel
Should you wish to provide additional details or specific requirements, the dev team is ready to assist you. They will guide you through the process to ensure a bespoke solution that meets your unique needs.

    Kind Regards,
    8theme team
