Hi Eva.

Sorry, me again. Could you please tell me how to remove the link on a portfolio post that allows the feature image to display in full. I’d just like the link through to the post, not the image. I think sometimes it can be confusing to the viewer as to what to click.

Hello,

In the admin panel you should edit Theme Options > Portfolio and set “Enable Lightbox For Projects” to “Off”.

Hello,

Please check your site now. We’ve edited custom.css file and white block has disappeared.
Regarding columns in footer you need use Static blocks for this.

And the excerpts on the blog posts? Even though I’ve put an excerpt in, the full story is displaying on the overall blog page. What have I missed?

Hello,

Try to use the code  in text mode for your posts.
Put it inside the post where you want “Read more” button to appear.

Are you able to have a sidebar on the main blog page? Not the separate posts, the overall page? I seem to have all the options selected by nothing will display. Sorry for all the questions :S

Hello,

When editing a Blog page you should choose a widget area for sidebar at the right side of the page:

Don’t forget to put necessary widgets into the Widget area in Appearance > Widgets.

Where can I find where to change the ‘recent works’ title please? And the ‘projects’ title underneath the girls name right at the top of the page. I need to change it to something more relevant because these girls are not ‘projects’ 🙂

Hi again Eva,

Okay so the last question wasn’t the last question. Sorry about that! Anyway so my question is on the home page there is the girls slider, the problem is that on the right side of the page but underneath the slider pictures there seems to be some text which we can’t get rid of. The text says View More Posts >

Is there a way to remove this?

Sorry, but I can’t find the text “View More Posts” as well as ‘recent works’ title and ‘projects’ title. Have you removed them already? If no, could you please provide screenshots where I can see the titles?

Yeah sorry Eva, I managed to find out how to change the projects title. But here is a screenshot of the ‘view more posts’ issue I was saying about: http://www.cyandistribution.com/example.jpg Can we remove this, or failing that, move it so it isn’t behind the images?

Also, my last query is about the side bar on the overall blog page. I seem to have all the options ticked/selected to enable a sidebar and I have content within the widget area so I’m not sure why there isn’t anything showing. The sidebar is there for the individual posts, but not the main blog page. Unless this page doesn’t allow for one?

Hello,

Unfortunately sidebar can’t be displayed when you select Grid option for Blog Layout in Theme Options. It works only with the default option and timeline.
I’ve removed “view more posts” editing custom.css.
