Portfolio – How to set the Portfolio

Hi,

I make use of the template under the Portfolio. It only has templates for 8 titles. When I tried to “add new” under Portfolio, I have no idea which template I should select in order to be consistent with those given by the template under Porfolio. I have tried several template but have no luck to find the right one. Could you kindly advise which template or how I can build the template?

As I see portfolio projects are shown fine.
Please clarify what templates you’re talking about.

Yes, I have set 8 projects on the Portfolio. Right now I need to set one more project. However, I have no clue how to set up the project page. Yes, it’s supposed to “add new”. Then which item should I select? Single image box plus what? I cannot find the text box which include Project Decription and Project Links. Or can you tell me how can I duplicate one more project page?

Thank you, Eva. I have 3 more questions –

How can I change the footer? Right now on the template it’s Royal Store logo on the left, office location in the centre and the Flickr Album on the right. I tried to change the Flickr album without succeeded. I did read through the documentation about Footer and Static Block. However, I found empty in my Static Block. Anyway, can you let me know how can I change the content on the footer area? Such as how can I change the link of Flickr to my Flickr account?

The other question is the color of the font on menu bar. How can I change it? I read through the reply on the forum but it’s said to set .css code. Any easy way I can do it other than setting .css?

On the FAQ page, how can I delete the search box? It seems to be embedded by default.

1) Please watch video tutorial how to set up footer:

2) Try to add the following code in Global Custom CSS (Theme Options->Custom CSS).

3) Please use this code in Global Custom CSS

Hi,

1. I am able to take out the Search Box on the FAQ page per the code you provided earlier. However, the Search box still exist on the Home Page and the Contact Page. Could you kindly advise how can I take it out?

2. I am able to work on the Footer per your advice. However, I am not yet able to remove the default footer which is consisted of Royal store logo and dummy address and Flickr account, which is at the bottom of each page right now. Could you kindly advise how can I remove the default footer?

3. I have worked out the revolution sliders, Creative, to be the main visual on the cover page as home page. However, could you kindly advise how can I activate it to replace the default one?

Hello,

1. Go to Pages section in wp-admin panel, edit Home page and Contact Us page and select “Without Sidebar” in “Sidebar Position” field on the right side of the editor.

2. I’ve disabled demo footer in Theme Options > General > Show footer demo blocks > Off.

3. You can change slider on home page in Pages > edit home page > select a slider in “Show revolution slider instead of breadcrumbs and page title” field on the right side at the bottom.

Thank you, Eva. I can fix everything per your instructions earlier. Sorry that I still have a few questions –

1. could you kindly tell me how can I change the font colour on the menu bar? Right now the menu bar is on the left hand side on the home page. The font colour is too light that cannot be read.

2. on the menu bar, there are a few widgets attached including Facebook, Twitter and email. Is it possible to change the hyperlink there?

3. On the home page, at the right bottom corner, there is a little pop up box, Contact us, which is in orange. Could you kindly advise how can I change the background color of this pop up?

Hello,

1. As I see font color is pretty visible:

Do you want to change color when hovering menu items?

2. You need edit the file wp-content/themes/royal/framework/shortcodes.php (find the section “! Share This Product” in line 1918), to change links you need edit the code, for example for Twitter <a href="https://twitter.com/share?url='.$permalink.'&text='.$post_title.'" class="'.$tooltip_class.'" title="'.__('Twitter', ETHEME_DOMAIN).'" target="_blank"> and replace https://twitter.com/share?url='.$permalink.'&text='.$post_title.' with a link to your Twitter account.

3. Go to wp-admin panel > Chat Console > Options > Customize Skin tab.

Is it possible to swap the column of contact form and the column of Team Members on the page, Contact us?

On the Home page, the full page visual, how can I remove the bar which is part of the graphic when introduce the theme of the visual? It’s supposed to have 2 bars with the headline, subheadline on the template.

Sorry, one more question – on the page, Contact Us – for the profile of individual team members, the social media icon, I set up the hyperlink for each individual social media platform. For example, the Facebook the link I key in
#https://www.facebook.com/libertad.d.jose
Then it will become
http://www.inspireframe.org/#https://www.facebook.com/libertad.d.jose

Could you kindly advise how I can fix the hyperlink? Thanks, WT

You need edit the slider in Revolution Slider settings.

I’ve added the link for Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/libertad.d.jose (without #).
Please check the icon now.

To remove icons on home page go to Theme Options > Header > Header custom HTML (for 6, 7, 13, 14, 18 headers) and delete shortcode [share].
