Hi, Please can you reconsider still including standard header into your core plugin? I have numerous sites which I have done before header builder was introduced and now will all have to be recreated, as I always make sure they are kept up to date with latest theme updates. This is going to give me so much work. Also you don’t have any templates for the burger menu option in standard header, so recreating this will cause alot of work. If you can keep standard header aswell as header builder you will make alot of people happy. I will use header builder going forward for new sites.
    Thanks.

    Hello,

We added the countdown for the default header a long time ago. So, I’m not sure if developers will add the default header back.
Anyway, you can downgrade your sites to 7.0.2 version of theme and 3.0.2 version of the core plugin to get the default headers back and rebuild it using header builder. If you need help with it we are ready to assist, just provide us with WP Dashboard access to your site.

    Hi,

I personally think this is a cop-out! you can’t get rid of a major thing and expect people to constantly change old websites. For anyone who has purchased a license from you we deserve to be still considered. I understand you have to improve and evolve, but you should still keep old functionality in for people have already used it. We are the reason your theme is so successful, so we deserve to be treated better. I have purchased multiple licenses from you and have multiple sites, so you expect me to manually change every single one so they look like they do now with the header builder? because they won’t, I will have to customise css to get them to look the same. I can’t afford the time to do it!

If I keep the theme version to 7.0.2 and only ever update the core plugin, will my site always work? or is there another work around?

    Look forward to your reply.

Don’t know anything about a new header builder, but I just started using this theme last week and am actively developing a new site, and configured the header using the default functionality. I applied the updates just now and everything I had customized in the header and footer is gone.

So I’m going to have to spend an hour trying to restore the prior version of the theme and core plugin and see if I can get my customizer settings back without losing the changes I made to the site today.

Which also means that I can’t trust any future updates that may come along…

    Hello, @hdowthwaite

We do understand you but unfortunately, we are not able to keep the old header if we want to move on with our updates because the support of the old header options and the header builder options at the same time, testing them after every update takes too much time. That’s why we could offer you our help with rebuilding the headers on your site using header builder.
What version of the theme did you use before and what type of header? Do you know that the header builder includes presets to speed up the creation of the header http://prntscr.com/ve3nnw ?

You may keep version 7.0.2 till the new critical update of the WooCommerce plugin. But it would be better to make your site up to date.

    Regards

    Hello, @barry.tuber

If you used 7.0.2 version (before the last update) and imported version using our setup wizard then probably you used header builder. Please, create a personal topic and provide us with the WP Dashboard access to your site. We’ll check and help you.

    Regards
