Dear,

I need to add product description under the product picture, i can do this one product at a time. i would like to use WP All Import, it works find on plain text but when i use VC it do not work. Please let me know how to add custom fields and display under the product picture.

Hello,

Our theme shouldn’t affect WP import process, but you may deactivate our theme and all plugins, then import all products and enable everything back.

I understand this but i had a different ques.

1) What i meant was you have options to add customs fields in your royal theme on add product page right?
2) Where do they show (if i select and enter the desired value)?
3) Can i get the same under product picture?

Hope this one is understandable and not confusing like last time.

They show in the tabs or accordian under the product on the single product page.

It also depends if the fields are custom fields or attributes. Only attributes show in the “other info” section.

I like your site nicely done. i am into fine jewelry and would like product description with a lot of details i.e. metal, metal weight, purity, Diamond, Shape, Ct. wt., Quality/color, Color stone, Weight, Quality/color and few more. some one i know was able to import the same but the styling was not good …

the out come was

the below we tried using Visual Composer & a bit of coding, 1/2 row in which 1/4 row for fixed items (all products) and 1/4 for the products details. This looks good, i have the format but cannot attach a screenshot here. The person who did import above said he cannot import using the script from VC or coding as some error comes 🙁 bad.

Just to inform you description below comes under product picture looks a very good layout for a single page product.

Ajay,

They likely won’t help because it requires theme customization outside of what is provided. If they were to help, they would require payment for this…just guessing.

There is a way to get the information on your website, but it’s not exactly how you want it, and for this reason, you will either need to customize the site yourself, or pay someone to do it.

However, because you CAN import all the additional information into the tabbed area, I would suggest you ask how you can show this tab first, so the user doesn’t have to click the second tab to see it. I believe this will get you closer to what you want.

So, 8theme…can you provide a way to have the “Additional Information” tab show before the “Description tab”. Is there a way to reorder these tabs?

i would put this as a new question now.

you are right but 8theme can write the same so that at-least customers like me don’t wait for an answer. i know my inquiry comes under customization and i might need to pay for it. till they say, how i or anyone would come to know.
