Hi,
I’m not sure whether this is a problem with the theme or Pinterest. The pinterest share button on single products (doesn’t happen in the quickview) is being overriden with the official pinterest icon/button rather than the Fontawesome icon that should be there (if you watch the page load, the original Fontawesome icon loads momentarily before being replaced by the pinterest button).
I did have a filter (to add the instagram icon) but have disabled this and still no joy.
Example is here: http://nailsint.aardvarky.com/product/babydoll-soak/

Have you fixed the issue?

I think I’ve solved the problem:
I noticed that th pinterest share button wasn’t getting overridden in ‘quickview’ because it opens up inside an iframe. Inside an iframe, pinit.js (which is being declared for the Pinterest user feed) cannot interfere with the share button.
Therefore, I have placed all the code for the pinterest user feed (including the pinit.js inclusion) in another file, which I open up in an iframe. This way, it cannot interfere with the pinterest share button, and the problem is solved.
It’s not really a problem with the theme, but with the stupid pinterest JS file, but for anyone else who happene to decide they’d like to include a pinterest feed on their page while also having the pinterest share button enabled, this may be useful.
(I swear I only come up with a solution after posting here. Until I’ve posted the problem here, I never seem to work it out! Haha! 🙂
