    Hi,

Since a few weeks we have issues with our website – at some point we keep getting memory issues – “unable to allocate memory”). This mostly happened after updating to V2.3.

We tried reinstalling several plugins. We even disabled plugins to determine what the cause is. The only discovery we made is that the error’s frequency becomes less as we disable more plugins. But it somehow keeps unbalanced.

We even get this error in the back-end of wordpress. The first questions is, what is the recommended amount of PHP memory needed for this template? Our hosting has a fixed amount at 128MB; the appropriate command line for this amount of memory has also been added once to wp-config / wp-settings and to the .htaccess.

We would love to hear from you.

Ps. our homepage has a visual composer build – but this can only be edited via the front-end editor. The back-end editor does not detect the elements for some reason. Reinstalling the plugins did not help. Should I open this ticket in another topic?

    Hello,

128MB of memory should be enough for the theme. Are you using any 3rd-party plugins?

Concerning VC editor, please provide us with FTP and wp-admin panel credentials in Private Content.
Have you made any changes in the theme files?

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.
