I’m planning to update my site’s PHP version from 7.3 to 8.0 and I ran a compatibility tool, which resulted in some warnings for Royal. Are these going to be a problem or can I safely ignore them? (see private content area)
I am running Royal 6.4.0. Are some of these fixed in 6.4.5? I couldn’t find these issues marked as fixed in the patch notes.
Hello, Kultakuume,
Thank you for reaching out to us with your query regarding the PHP version update for your site.
parse_str(), openssl_free_key are fixed in 6.4.5 version.
However, please be aware that the error related to libxml_disable_entity_loader
persists. Although this function is present in our plugin, it is a replication of a WordPress core file, which WordPress has not yet addressed.
We hope this information is helpful.

Thank you for the response! It was very helpful, indeed.
I have an additional question: There are some plugins that Royal uses (Redux, Revslider) that also indicated some compatibility warnings with PHP 8.0 (see private content area). I understand that these are not your products, but can you say if these issues have caused any problems when using Royal on PHP 8.0?
Hello, Kultakuume,
We would like to inform you that the issues in question are not critical. Rather, they should be considered as recommendations for more efficient coding practices.
