Parallax view is not working - by aditya0192

I have installed parallax theme and on home page parallax view is not working. I tried with visual composer but still it is snot resolved. I want homepage to scroll like demo page of parallax with image as background and text scrolling up with parallax effect.

I also want to know from where we can change category banner for different product categories. for each category I want different image. It has default banner image on all category page.

Thank you for contacting us.
Please provide us with wp-admin access in Private Content.
You can add different banners for product category in Product->Categories->Category Header->Add media.

Hello,

Use VC editor to enable parallax option in the row settings.
http://prntscr.com/dmjvzx
Navigate to Page Setting->Page Layout->Sidebar position->Without sidebar.
As for banners – seems there’s a bug in our theme. We’ll send this issue to our developers and it will be fixed in the next theme update.

if I am attaching any background image then its original size is not displaying. you can check on homepage. Cart and checkout pages are also showing sidebar which was not there in demo.

I’ve disabled sidebar for cart and checkout pages.
Also, I’ve changed settings for the first block on the home page. Please check it now.

Yes. I wanted this for all sections on homepage. you can see search icon is coming down. Is it because of too many menu items? is there any option in this theme to adjust padding in header to adjust this? Thanks

Hi, I have selected header type as transparent but header is not coming transparent on my website. It should be same as in demo of parallax. Please let me know why it is not reflecting.

Hello,

To make header transparent you need select header type 2 in Theme Options > Header and set slider in home page editor in “Show slider instead of breadcrumbs and page title” section.

Thanks. It was not there in documentation.

I am not getting option to restrict product categories toggle in sidebar to set as nomultiple option. Previous toggle/ accordion should close once next accordion is expanded. Kindly tell me where can I set it.

Hello,

Unfortunately, there is no such option.
To close first category http://prntscr.com/do0n87 you can edit the wp-content/themes/woopress/js/etheme.js file. Find and comment out line 1819
$this.find(‘>li’).first().find(‘.open-this’).html(minusIcon).parent().addClass(‘opened’).find(‘ul.children’).show();
