    Hello there,

    I have imported your parallax demo into my page and everything works great for that demo. However, when I try to add an image as an entire background image such as your demo, the nice parallax with a nice big background image that does not happen for me. The background just covers the text that I am entering and sometimes I have to hover over the text in order for the image to appear. I have looked and copy the row settings exactly the same as the demo and mine just appears different.

    Any ideas on how I can solve this issue? I want my page to look like:

    http://www.wood.ly/parallax-2 but it looks like http://www.wood.ly/

    Thanks,

    Hello,

    Some plugin is causing the issue. Please disable all 3rd-party plugins and check the page.

    Best regards,

    Hello,

    I have done that and the problem of the image not appearing until I hover over the text is not there anymore (thanks for that) however I still can’t have the image to cover the entire background such as the one in your demo.

    Can you please tell me how this problem can be fixed please?

    Thanks,

    Hello,

    I’ve added padding values for parallax background in the row settings: http://storage1.static.itmages.com/i/15/0907/h_1441615139_4755237_2f2ad4c651.png
    Please check the page now. Also add this code in Theme Options > Custom CSS > Global Custom CSS to remove space under the slider:

    .page-heading-slider .wpb_revslider_element {
       margin-bottom: 0px;
    }

    Regards,

    Thank you! Is there a way to update the plugins without having to replace the files directly from the FTP?

    Hello,

    The browser cache has been cleared and I also updated to Visual Composer 4.7 and Ultimate Add ons for Visual Composer 3.13.4, and Revolution Slider is still not working with the Parallax feature. From what I can see, whatever parallax image I add after Revolution slider does not work. However If I add a revolution slider at the end of the page (i.e. nothing after the slider) everything works perfectly but I have it at the top of the page nothing works below the rev slider, please help as I want the Revolution Slider at the top of the page and the rest to be parallax.

    Thank you very much.

    Hello,

    The problem persists only in Chrome browser. Check it in Firefox and you’ll see there is no such issue.
    You may try this solution on your side:

    Hi Eva,

    Indeed it only persists in the Chrome browser but I have tried in other computers and it does not work on their Chrome either. Therefore, that means that Visual Composer, Revolution Slider or WooPress are not suitable to work with Chrome. I am pretty sure that other people have same kinda problems. Maybe this is a bug somewhere? Could please check with the folks at EightTheme to solve this issue please? The only browser that works perfectly is just Firefox, by using Safari there is a weird space between the Slider and the Parallax even though I added the code on Global CSS on this issue.

    Could you please resolve as I can’t launch the website if this problem persists.

    Thank you very much and sorry for the inconvenience.

    Hello,

    This issue is related to Ultimate VC Addons plugin. We contacted them and received the reply:

    We tested, at the moment – Fixed background property is creating bugs in Chrome.

    See reports here –

    http://stackoverflow.com/questions/22292357/fixed-background-image-bug-chrome-mac
    http://www.cybertechquestions.com/css-fixed-background-attachment-blinks-in-google-chrome_118396.html
    https://wordpress.org/support/topic/problem-with-fixed-backgrounds-in-chrome

    if you google “Chrome bug with fixed background” you will find many people reporting the same.

    The workaround for this is quick. Simply change fixed background to “Move with the content” (scroll) Further – you can apply parallax to it and make it even more beautiful.

    Please try the suggestion of them.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hi Eva,

    I did what you suggested and is working smoothly with Chrome as well thanks!

    There is a space between the slider and the parallax image (Only in Safari), and a space between the parallax images in all browsers, any suggestions on how to get rid of this?

    Thanks for all your help!

    Hello,

    I’ve added margin-bottom value 0px to the row settings with parallax effect.

    Please check site now.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.
